Tips/Information
● 1 person in the team brings the snake rudder to pop purple crab in Verzik for the team (usually the ranger). It's beneficial that whoever is doing BGS doesn't bring the Serpent Helm because neit faceguard does max hit.
● The reason no one but the ranger has a rank boat (and 2 for 5 men) is so that the ranger boat shares all the equipment, before the nyloca boss shows up. The remaining dose(s) is(are) if the ranger is drained during the opening.
● Mages can choose to keep the Ancient Hat, MA2 Cloak, and/or 1 Anglerfish to fit 2-3 Inquisitor sets to help as a backup spec for Sotetseg. You can choose to put the ava mounter instead of an anglerfish as you don't lose max hit without it with tbow, dragon arrows are cheap and can pick up ammo on the ground after a kill if you're stingy.
● For wizards to have 100% freeze accuracy for Maiden in Hat and Cloak, you need at least one pre-heart magic vessel or predivine if you want to freeze without auspices. The 4 man melee freeze role needs to use omen.
● The reason wizards don't bring arcanes is because you don't need them to have 100% freeze accuracy. It's best to bring a hat and cape for extra max hit with the barrage.
● Melee attacks don't bring the ava mounter, as they only work as a pre-shot bow on Maiden and Sotetseg, and for the boss Nylo, where you can pick up ammo off the ground after a kill if you're stingy.
● Melee brings Ham instead of Quickblade due to the Smash bonus with the Arbiter's top and bottom. Don't wear the inq helmet during nylocas waves because you lose a max hit. You can maintain the accuracy of the radio ham articulation and not lose a max hit if using the lower inq or tassets.
● The normal 2 Super Combat Pots are for recharging if accidentally depleted on Maiden, and for preparing Super Combat between scythe hits to be healthy enough to finish off the vengeances on Sotetseg and Verzik P3.
● Only 1 person needs to bring the heart, and they can pass it around to use before the nylocas salute/boss.

Nylocas appear in 70%, 50% and 30%. The number of crabs spawned depends on the team size, where is team size * 2. This means that at 5 men all possible nylocas spawned are static, while any smaller scale will randomize which nylos spawn where.
For 3 and 4 man the south/main freezer will freeze the southern crabs as normal however all other team members should be on the north side and when the crabs spawn do 2 torch hits on N1 and 2 torch blows in N2. On 4 man south freeze can group s2 on the stack, while the melee freeze function on 4 man should freeze 3 and 4 on the stack.

In 5 mans it's better to have 2 freezers instead of trying to do the "bp n1 n2" method mentioned above.
An advanced method (which is applicable to [sometimes 3, but depending on spawn type], 4 and 5 men) is called 70/50 stacking. What this means is that the freezers freeze the 70 while the rest of the team tries to process the 50, so the main stack handles the stacks of 70 and 50 at the same time.
Any remaining specs saved after reducing Maiden's defense to 0 can help render 50 seconds faster with the grapple spec if needed. In that case, it would be better for BGS mages instead of melees so melees can have the possible spec to grab (they can't be mages as they're too busy in the backyard freezing).
● When chinning, pay attention to the distance between you and the target, as this affects accuracy.
Swell
If you have time to swell without delay, on the first drop, Dragon Claw specify the first hit (if you have a BGS, you should do a BGS instead of a claw, there should only be 2 of you doing this) and do 4 scythe hits followed by a Crystal Halberd spec (you should be taking the stomp), when you get to the second try you do 5 Scythe hits and a Crystal Halberd spec (if the swelling is around 15% after a Scythe hit you can use all Crystal Halberd Specs to save time).
Bloat's defense comes back as soon as Bloat starts moving again, so only BGS on 1st down to max DPS possible on 1st down.
Hands cannot land twice in a row on the same tile, so moving to a tile where a hand just landed will ensure your safety for the next hand drop cycle.
nylocas
The most consistent strategy is to have 1 mage, 1 ranger, and the rest of the team melee and assist the mage when needed. If you have a 5 man team, have 2 magers and 2 meleers.
The next wave of Nylo will only appear when Live Nylo's "threshold" is below the set value. The 1-20 wave limit is 12. The 21+ wave limit is 24.
At the start of the boss, do 1 Claw spec on a Crystal Halberd spec, save your next Crystal Halberd spec for when you attack early enough in the phase to be able to do at least 2 bp 1 bow strike, 2 bow strikes, or 2 wizard hits in the next phase, depending on the style, or at the end of the fight to try to knock him out. (If you have a BGSso only 1 personyou should aim to hit 35 boss damage with your specs. If the first spec reaches 35 or higher, you should challenge the spec right after that and save the others to use for the rest of the fight)
When possible, try to maximize the amount of dps you can do in the boss range phase. From best to worst dps: → 4 bp 1 tbow → 1 bp 2 tbow → 3 bp 1 tbow → 2 tbow → 1 bp 1 tbow Hit the boss as much as possible without dying.

The best placement in this room is to have all players equidistant from each other around Sotetseg while staying at melee distance (even using a Twisted Bow) on the exact tiles shown in the image/tweet below. This is because Sotetseg's melee attacks are inaccurate and also don't count towards the bomb countdown, and having everyone 3 ticks apart means split sphere attacks will always hit you 1 tick after the melee attack. direct body/mage, which makes them unstable. You'll usually only get 1-2 bombs per kill with this method, and possibly none if you manage to 'jump' one of the bombs by activating the maze phase while the bomb is airborne.
● Sotetseg restores his defense to full (200 def) after each maze, so it's very important not to drop all specs immediately at the start.
● Defense reduction is also capped at 100 defense, so if you hit 2 DWH in the late phase, it discards the grab specs.
● For 4 and 5 men, make the non-inquisitor players the backup DWH specs.

● Phase 1 It is very important to coordinate specs across the team to maximize dps. The main concept is to start phase 1 with everyone doing 1 spec and going down so everyone starts regenerating specs as quickly as possible and making sure dawn specs deplete as quickly as possible.

● Phase 2 There are two popular melee methods during phase 2: The 3-pulse diagonal recoil (do this only if using a 4-pulse weapon) –
The 1 tick linear recoil (this works with a 4 tick weapon or a scythe, however you should always recoil every 4 ticks, which means you will lose a tick every 3 attacks with the scythe) –
During phase 3, if you are tanking, you can simply walk under or away from Verzik on the tick he will attack (Verzik attacks every 7 ticks during this phase), which prevents him from using a melee attack (which can hit everyone in the team for up to ~60 damage). Since the purple tornadoes spawn when Verzik is below 20% HP, Verzik attacks every 5 ticks.
